Fort Worth, Texas: The
Liberian Community Association-D/FW & Diaspora and its friends in
Texas greeted and met with their president to show their support and
approval for the great work that she is doing as President of the
Republic of Liberia.
The President as always was wonderful! “She made us feel very proud
to be Liberians, African to Africans and the women to be women! She
looks majestic and the award that she got ..."Bridge Builder Award"
was very appropriate for all that she has done, is doing and will do
for us all.
The President of the Liberian Community Association-D/FW & Diaspora,
Mr. James Varney Coleman echoed the award in his remarks to the
President with words of compliment, love and support for the
President. He also extended the President an invitation on behalf of
the Liberian Community Association-D/FW and its friends, such as UT
Arlington, to come back to Texas. President Sirleaf immediately
welcomed the opportunity.
We had a great time visiting with her, and it seems that she was
equally very pleased to see the Liberian Community come out to see
and support her
